Experience the Holy Land
This is a wonderful 13-day journey, to a sacred place, taken at a slightly slower pace so we really experience the wonders of the Lord in the land of Biblical history: the land where God sent His only Son to walk and live among us. We will be in those places, with many opportunities for prayer, for teaching, for friendship, for listening to the Holy Spirit and even baptisms or re-confirmation of baptism, in the Jordan river.
Picture sailing on the Sea of Galilee and eating a fish lunch by its shores. Or sitting on the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. We will read His words there. Imagine being on Mount Carmel, where God sent fire to consume Elijah’s sacrifice and the prophets of Baal were defeated. We will walk the streets of Jerusalem where Jesus carried His cross, and share communion near the Garden Tomb, where the stone is rolled away and a sign proclaims, “He Is Risen!”
In every place we visit, from Caesarea Philippi to Capernaum to to Calvary, we will read the Scripture and realize it was actually here that God met with His people. We too, by grace, will meet Him there! It’s amazing!!!

This Journey is in collaboration with Sherwood Park Alliance Church in Edmonton, AB. There are two registrations: first for the actual travel in Israel and second for your air ticket to get there.
